Spec Ops: The Line Developer Hiring Staff for New Free to Play Game

The developer behind much acclaimed Spec Ops: The Line, Yager Development is up to another project. They are currently hiring staff that will apparently work on their next project – listed as a free to play the next-generation game.

This could be the much-awaited new project of Yager that made it to the news originally in August last year when design lead Jorg Friedrich had disclosed at GDC Europe that the developer was working on a large project.

The news has come out thanks to Yager themselves who listed multiple job openings on their official website. Most of the listings mention a AAA free to play title.

Some of the posts listed include a post for Senior Multiplayer Level Designer where they are looking for an experienced designer for a new AAA free to play project. This comes along with a Senior 3D Artist’s post that comes with the same details, a Visual FX Artist post that makes reference to the next generation.

The post of Multiplayer Programmer refers to working with an international, highly experienced team of developers for the same project as above, so does the post of a Tools Programmer.

Previously, Yager also licensed Unreal Engine 4 for an unannounced title back in March this year.

What could all this be about, any wild guesses?
