EA is coming under fire for DLC and being sued over Battlefield

EA is coming under fire for its failure to perform in regards to Battlefield 4. There is a lawsuit being filed on behalf of stock purchasers between July 24 and December 4 of this year, accusing EA of misleading investors based on launch expectations for Need for Speed Rivals and Battlefield 4. Due to all the online woes, DICE and EA have halted the Battlefield 4 expansions while they resolve the issues.

This announcement dropped their stock by 25%, but not before the EA senior executives sold their stocks off at the artificially inflated price. EA believes the claims are "meritless" and are preparing for a lengthy court battle. But now there is a rumor that the digital upgrades to next-gen don't actually carry over the pre-order DLC. A customer service rep said that upgraded players will have to purchase the DLC again. This seems to exclude Battlefield Premium members.

If this is true, it just seems like more ammo for stock holders. EA, Battlefield players are most displeased with your lack of progress.
