Wargame: Red Dragon trailer released, looks pretty as hell
I really, really couldn’t get into Wargame: AirLand Battle after it released last year. Playing the preview build was one of the most draining experiences I’d ever had. It’s like stepping into Microsoft Flight Simulator X after spending about half an hour practising a take-off in Apache Longbow. Other games in the same genre just don’t prepare you, not even remotely satisfactorily, for what’s on hand. It may not even be cruel to think of Wargame as the ArmA of real-time strategies, so deep and frightening is its arsenal of toys.
An arsenal which, thanks to a new trailer and press release, is going to grow even more substantially. Wargame: Red Dragon was announced late last year, promising 450 new units, 5 new countries (North Korea and China included), and a new central Asian conflict, dragging the series out of Europe for the first time. You can view the new trailer, which looks bloody gorgeous might I add, from Focus Interactive below.
