Call of Duty: Ghosts Fixes Spawn With Patch 1.05 For PS3 and 1.07 For PS4
Good news for you Playstation owners, as Call of Duty: Ghosts issues a new update that fixes more issues with its overall game and in particular the multipayer experience. Both Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 are issued a patch. For PS3, this is patch 1.05 and for PS4, we’re up to 1.07.
Performance should now improve when players are spamming the screen. A crash in CODeSports play, as well as some regular crashes during rounds should be fixed as well.
Lobby migration should no longer hinder class creation. Moreover, loadouts no longer appear as restricted if a restricted perk was selected in specialist strike package even though specialist wasn’t equipped.
Attachment and weapon camo in private matches should now be visible, with the same being true for the dog’s extended kill on a final killcam.
Most importantly, spawn issues have been addressed, after some community backlash on poor placement. This addendum is noted as being specific towards certain maps, but hopefully everyone will spawn in a relatively safe place now. No one likes getting mowed down before they can even get their guns up.
A previous update also ensured that PlayStation 4 owners could play Call of Duty: Ghosts in 1080p. It required a download and install on the PS4 disk, to update to higher quality textures.
Resolutions are a hot button issue in the next generation of consoles and players have been adamant on wanting to play in the highest setting possible. Many criticize people who downplay this difference. Regardless, you’ll now be able to both enjoy high definition gameplay and have it work as desired.
