New Call of Duty: Ghosts Patch Features Hotfixes and ‘Heavy Duty’ Game Mode

Infinity Ward have unleashed the latest Call of Duty: Ghosts patch amongst the masses and it brings a whole host of fixes for the game as well as a brand new game mode called ‘Heavy Duty’. Most of the changes are minor, though you might want to take a look at the alterations to Infected Mode.

The Heavy Duty mode gives all players increased health, letting them tank damage for longer before dying. The devs are looking to gather data about this mode and its reception from the fans, so you might consider heading over to the forums here.

The changes to infected mode basically involve weapon balances, especially for the Sniper Rifle. They’ve slightly reduced the ‘flinch’ benefit that the Focus perk gave snipers, and they’ve also reduced the ADS speed.

Most of the rest is just minor bugfixes such as the one which let you have unlimited perks and the one that gave you invisibility.

The update has been launched for just about all platforms except for the Wii U, for which the last update came out a bit earlier this month. Infinity Ward or Activision have not yet stated when the Wii U would be getting the patch. I suggest you head over to the source here and take a look at the whole changelog.
