Call of Duty Championship Brings eSports to Xbox One
There will be a $1 million prize pool, there will be the best Call of Duty teams and all this will happen on the next generation come Call of Duty Championship. Microsoft is presenting the first competitive prize tournament on Xbox One.
The event will be held in Los Angeles from 28 to 30 March where Infinity Ward, Xbox and Major League Gaming will be partnering along with other international eSports partners. A total of 32 best Call of Duty teams will participate to fight for the title of Call of Duty World Champions.
Eric Hirshberg the CEO of Activision Publishing says:
Apart from being the second annual Call of Duty championship, it will be the first competitive event to be held on Xbox One. The matches will be livestreamed on Xbox Live and MLG.tv where you will be able to cheer for the teams you support.
