Call of Duty® Championship 2014 Announced
The Call of Duty® Championship, presented by Xbox tournament is back in 2014. From March 28th to 30th, 32 of the best Call of Duty teams from around the world will compete in an attempt to claim the World Champions title from last year’s winner – Fariko Impact – along with the lion’s share of the tournament’s $1 million prize pool.
The best 32 teams will qualify from six different continents (North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia), representing over 15 countries, and will battle it out live at the tournament’s Los Angeles, California venue.
The Road to The Call of Duty® Championship, presented by Xbox will be broadcasted live via Xbox Live and MLG.tv, starting with online qualifiers, leading to LAN based regional finals hosted by MLG, Gfinity and ACL where the region’s top teams will compete for a place at the Championship, and a chance to be Call of Duty Champions.
Live Regional Finals:
Australia / New Zealand – Sydney 28th February, 1st March, 2nd March
Europe – London, 28th February, 1st March, 2nd March
USA – New York, 7th - 9th March
Championship – Los Angeles, 27th – 29th March
